Frequently Asked Questions
What is counselling?
Counselling is a talking therapy where a trained professional will listen and help you to untangle issues you’re facing, which in turn can help you understand your thoughts, feelings and behaviours better.
How regularly will we meet?
Usually we will meet once a week, over time we can discuss moving to a fortnightly basis. Sessions are always 50 minutes long, and they can be in person, online or on the phone.
I am worried about someone else, can you help them?
It is really scary to worry about our loved ones’ mental health. If you are concerned about someone, please get in touch. I am happy to help, but I will always need to speak directly with the client and have their consent to begin therapy.
